TGP Expense App is a private bookkeeping tool used by the two owners of TGP, a small photo and video production studio. It is not offered to the public.
What it does
- An owner saves a photo, screenshot or PDF of a receipt into a Google Drive folder that we own.
- A computer in our studio reads the image with an AI model that runs on that computer. Receipt images are not sent to any outside AI service.
- The app adds the purchase details to our own Google Sheet. These are the date, amount, merchant, location, card used and expense category.
- The app renames the file and moves it into our own “processed” folder in Google Drive.
Google account access
When an owner signs in with Google, the app asks for permission to:
- Google Drive: read the receipt files in our receipt folders, then rename them and move them between those folders.
- Google Sheets: add rows to our expense spreadsheet and read them back.
The app only works with the folders and spreadsheet we configure for it. It does not read anything else in your Google account.
